Huntstown Wood lies approximately in the north, south alignment which gives the following with regards the boundaries and gates:
The South West Corner
The entrance gate and hard standing for parking is in the south west corner of Huntstown Wood.

The Western Boundary
The western boundary is a shared tree topped six foot bank. The ditch and boundary fence lie within the boundary of 'Huntstown Wood'.
The only access point to the ditch is a gate at the southern end and is marked 'private' even though it belongs to 'Huntstown Wood'.

The North West Corner
The pedestrian gate in the north west corner is private and is there to allow access between Higher Huntstown Farm and 'Huntstown Wood'.
NB: Visitors to 'Huntstown Wood' are not to use this gate as it leads into private property.

The Northern Boundary
The northern boundary is complex in that, at the north west corner, it runs to the south of a pond before crossing the stream that feeds it and becomes the northern bank of the stream.
There are sections of an ancient tree topped bank on the southern bank of the stream.

The Eastern Boundary
The eastern boundary is a shared tree topped six foot bank. The land to the east is used for sheep and is partly wooded.
Within the tree topped bank there is a drainage ditch for a short distance at the northern end: a post and wire fence runs the whole length.

The Southern Boundary
The southern boundary runs alongside the access track and consists of a deer proof fence next to the track. Inside this is a tree topped six foot high bank.
The entrance gate and hard standing for vehicles is situated in the south west corner.
