Situated between the hamlets of Emsworthy and Cross Green in the Torridge area of Devon, 'Huntstown Wood' is approximately 6 acres (2.4 hectares) in area. There is a boundary ride and a number of rides and clearings throughout the young wood which allows easy access for enjoying the woodland: the north bank of the stream forms the northern boundary.
'Huntstown Wood' was planted as part of a woodland expanse of approximately 50 acres in total which, when planted, was entered into the Woodland Grant Scheme and the Farm Woodland Premium Scheme run by the Forestry Commission.
