The Trees

Approximately one third of 'Huntstown Wood' was planted with oak trees.

A few oak trees are showing 'squirrel damage'.

Approximately one fifth of 'Huntstown Wood' was planted with ash trees.

A number of the ash tress are showing signs of 'deer browsing' and 'Ash Die Back'. The trees with 'Ash Die Back', will be removed over time and replaced with a different species.

Approximately one tenth of 'Huntstown Wood' was planted with alder trees.

Approximately one tenth of 'Huntstown Wood' was planted with silver birch trees.

A number of species make up the remainder of the planting.
